Rekeep acquires Emmetek through its subsidiary Sicura
This transaction is consistent with Rekeep Group's growth path in the fire & security sector, in terms of skills and employees, and specifically in Sicura strategy
Rekeep acquires, through its subsidiary Sicura S.p.A., the 80% of the share capital of Emmetek S.r.l., with the aim of continuing to grow in the fire & security sector.
Emmetek is a company specialized in the design, prefabrication and installation of pumping stations, fire-fighting water reserves, hydrant networks and extinguishing systems, as well as in ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of extinguishing systems with different types of extinguishing agents and pump groups.The Company, with operational headquarters in Ferrara, is mainly active in Northern Italy (in particular in Veneto and in Emilia-Romagna) and has a workforce of around 18 highly trained and specialized employees.
On December 31, 2018 Emmetek had consolidated revenues of 3.7 million euros, up 16.3% compared to 3.2 million euros on December 31, 2017.
Following the transaction, Massimiliano Trombini, previously the sole shareholder of Emmetek, maintained a 20% stake in the Company's share capital, and confirmed in the role as Chief Executive Officer, while Lamberto Cuppini, the current Chief Executive Officer of Sicura SpA, will take step in as Chaiman.
