Andrea Gozzi appointed Chief Operating Officer of Manutencoop Facility Management S.p.A.

The new International Market Division, has been established, which will be led by Danilo Bernardi.
The appointments are to be seen as part of the plan for the strengthening of the Group’s organisational and management structure. Their aims are further to boost the Group’s presence abroad, foster innovation and consolidate customer orientation.

Andrea Gozzi has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Manutencoop Facility Management S.p.A.

Gozzi will report directly to the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO, Claudio Levorato and will be in charge of coordinating and optimising all the Group’s commercial, project and operational activities in Italy. Specifically, Andrea Gozzi will be responsible for supervising the work of the Design & Continuous Improvement, Sales & Marketing and Procurement Departments, as well as all 6 Operational Areas in Italy.

Andrea Gozzi, 50 years of age, from Bologna, graduated in Economics at Bologna University immediately started working in the services sector, serving in the course of time as Administrative Manager of various companies in the Bologna area. He joined the Manutencoop Group in 2001, first as Administrative Manager, and became the CEO of subsidiary Servizi Ospedalieri S.p.A. in 2008.

Furthermore, the Group has established the new International Market Division in line with its growth strategy in the coming years, which, in fact, sees internationalisation as the main area in which the Group may increase its business. The division will be led by Danilo Bernardi, who will report directly to the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO, Claudio Levorato and will be in charge of developing the Group’s operations abroad.

Bernardi, 55 years of age, from Revine Lago (province of Treviso), began his career by working in marketing and development in various positions for big multinationals such as 3M, Siemens, Marriott and Dussmann. He joined the Manutencoop Group in 2005 as Promotion and Development Manager in the Energy and Maintenance sector and became Promotion and Development Manager for the Public Sector in 2010.

The appointments are to be seen as part of a broader-based plan to strengthen the MFM Group’s organisational and management structure, with the aim of being proactive in anticipating the challenges of an increasingly competitive market and responding to them as best it can by taking a customer-oriented approach based on innovation, more robust strategic planning and operational effectiveness.

Moreover, with the new organisational model enhances the Group’s younger human resources and assigns more positions in top management to women. Among the managers responsible for the various departments, whose appointments will be formalised during the coming weeks, appear several staff members between 35 and 40 years of age, in addition to including a number of women in key roles. 3 out of the 6 Area Managers, who will be responsible for operating and delivering the services in the local areas, are women, as also the Group’s CFO, Milva Carletti, who was appointed last year.

Manutencoop Facility Management S.p.A. has been assisted by The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a management consulting multinational and one of the world leaders in providing business strategy advice, in working out the Group’s new organisational and management structure.
