Sit Down, Read and Journey! Rekeep’s travelling library in Piazza dei Ciompi

Sit Down, Read and Journey! stops off in Florence as a part of the packed programme of events promoted by Rekeep for the celebration of its 80th anniversary. In cooperation with the Biblioteca delle Oblate,it brings to Piazza dei Ciompi 800 books from foreign literature which will be donated to the city library after the event.
From 22 September until 27 September, after the official inauguration  Massimo Fratini, Rekeep’s Library will host a different reading every day of selected passages from the collection to encourage people to learn about and exchange views by means of literature.

Gala evening at Villa del Poggio Imperiale

Enriching the Florentine leg of the tour will be a special evening dedicated to Rekeep’s stakeholders in the splendid Villa Medicea of Poggio Imperiale. Among the guests will be actress Lella Costa and historian of medicine Donatella Lippi with an original tale dedicated to Anna Maria Luisa De’ Medici./p>
